Club notes 08/01/2018

2018 player registration will take place on Sat 10th Feb from 7pm - 8pm. Rates are 80.00 per family, 60.00 per adult and 40.00 per child /U18. Annual club lotto is available at a reduced rate when purchased alongside registration.
This year we are hosting a talk immediately after registration at 8pm where a senior clinical psychologist will present a talk for players and parents on positive mental health and the benefits of sport & exercise in all our lives. This event is open to everyone to attend and we hope to see you all there for a cup of tea/coffee afterwards.


This years Scór Sinsir County Final competition will take place in Kilbride on 3.3.18 and the Scór Tráth na gCeist (Quiz) County Final in Hannon's Hotel, Roscommon on 9.3.18.
Our club has a long tradition down the years with Scór and invite anyone aged 17 and over as of the 1.1.18 interested in figure dancing, solo singing, instrumental music, recitation, ballad group, question time, drama or set dancing to contact Mary Regan, Club Cultural Officer on 087 6559955 with any queries or for further information.

 The 2017 County Under 17 Footballers were presented with their Connaught Winning and All Ireland runner up medals at a special function in The Abbey Hotel on Saturday night.
Congratulations to players Diarmuid Regan and Tomas McManus and all involved on this successful year.

A huge congratulations to our club players Aisling Bruen, Clodagh Sheerin and Sarah Smyth and their team-mates on competing in the All Ireland final in the basketball, U.19 Schools Championship. They were just pipped at the post by a very strong Dublin side in what was a riveting game. 

*Save the date* The club will hold a social night on March 31st 2018 during which we will acknowledge our winning teams from 1978 and 1993 on their 40th and 25th year respectively. Music, craic and special guests on the night. More details to follow.
