Update 15/10/17

At the time of writing and with a small number of hours to go to the closing time of the Eirgrid GAA Moments in Time competition our entry remains in pole position to win the Connacht final and the prize of top of the range electronic scoreboard. Either way the trojan effort made by a small group of people in promoting this venture coupled with the massive positive response from near and far, fills one with pride and a sense of community. Thanks to each and everyone who have supported us.

Congratulations to our under 10 team who won the Kevin Hanly cup in Kilglass on Saturday last. In three very competitive games our team defeated Kilmore, Elphin/Ballinameen and finally Shannon Gaels to win the cup by the narrowest of margins. Sincere gratitude goes to our players, team trainers and parents and also to Kilglass Gaels for hosting the tournament. Well done to all teams involved for the high standard of football.

Best of luck to our under 14 girls team and management who play Strokestown in the division 4A final next weekend. Our minor girls play away to Roscommon Gels on Sunday at 12 noon.
