Update 9/7/17

Congratulations to Diarmuid Regan and the county panel and management on winning the inaugural under 17 Connacht football championship which was held at the centre of excellence in Bekan last Saturday. Final score was Roscommon 2-08 Galway 1-08. Roscommon now proceed to the All-Ireland semi-final against Kerry which will be held over the August bank holiday weekend.

The club are once again selling memberships to Club Rossie, the financial wing of Roscommon GAA. We wish to thank all who have supported us in the past and once again appeal for renewals and new memberships,  Gold Membership costs €228 and includes 3 entries in the Club Rossie Members Draw, which has a top prize of €20,000, plus the choice of an exclusive Club Rossie Jacket, a Club Rossie Car Air Freshener and entry into Draws for All-Ireland Tickets and more. Bronze Membership costs €100 and includes one entry in the Club Rossie Members Draw, which has a top prize of €20,000, and a Club Rossie Car Air Freshener. Our under 14 boys secured a win over Kilglass/St. Barrys last Thursday. They face St. Dominic's at Ardcarne Park this Thursday. The under 16 boys play at home to Kilglass/St. Barry's on Monday evening at 7.30pm. The intermediates face Clan na Gael on Friday evening in the division 3 league. Throw in at Ardcarne Park is at 8.00pm.

The under 14 girls had a good win over St. Faithleach's last Monday, they face Oran this Wednesday at home at 7.30pm. The under 12 girls narrowly lost out to Roscommon Gaels ion the Tommy Hynes Summer league, next up for them is an away game to St. Mary's on Monday evening.  Well done to the under 8 and under 10 girls who played Shannon Gaels last Friday evening. New players are welcome.
