Update 23/7/17

A very well done to our under 8's and under 10's who performed really well in the recent football blitz versus Michael Glavey's last Saturday. Thanks to Michael Glavey's for hosting the games and for their welcome.

The under 14 boys were beaten by Roscommon Gaels on Tuesday evening in Ardcarne Park. The under 16 boys lost out to Castlerea St. Kevin's when they met in Castlerea on Thursday evening. The minors, St. Michael's/St. Ronan's managed a draw against St. Croan's in Ballyfarnon on Friday night. They are due to play Michael Glavey's this week.

The under 14 girls had a good win over Roscommon Gaels in the summer league last Wednesday, they play Castlerea away on Thursday next. The under 12 girls had a good win over St. Faithleach's last Thursday, they play Roscommon Gaels in the A final on Wednesday next away. They also play St. Mary's, Carrick in a challenge game on Monday next at home. The Kilglass/ St Michael's minor team play Tourelastrane, Sligo away in a challenge game on Monday next. This is the first outing of our minor girls who combined with Kilglass for the 2017 championship.

There was no jackpot winner of the club lotto draw which was held in Clancy's, Knockvicar on Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 3, 8, 17, 25. Winners of the lucky dip were JOhn Moffatt, Myorin, Fergal Morahan, Cleahen,, Patsy Mc Namara, Croghan, Patrick Gilboy, Oakport, Cootehall and Adrian Mc Cullagh, c/o The Bogside. Jackpot now goes to €1,500.
