Update 27/11/16

The momentum is gathering as the 10th December grows closer for the St. Michaels GAA Club Holiday & Fuel Draw. Entry to the draw is now available online by clicking on the link on our blog: www.stmichaelsgaa.blogspot.com or by finding us on facebook, search 'st michaels gaa'. Photograph above shows Andrew Mc Bride and Colin Bulloch from Carrick Craft Luxury Cruisers who have sponsored first prize of a week long Shannon cruise. Also included are club members Anthony Dowd, Brian Lee, Mary Kearns and Padraig Hunt.

In her address at a well attended AGM on Sunday, chairperson Jenny Bruen acknowledged the trojan work being carried out by so many people in so many ways which collectively makes our Club one to be proud of and one that has a positive future. The sitting officers were re-elected with a couple of exceptions, Padriag Harte takes over the vice-chair position from Eddie Heslin while Conor Mc Loughlin was elected to replace Padraig Hunt as treasurer.

There was no club lotto jackpot winner from the draw held in Henry's on 20th November. The numbers drawn were, 3, 5, 7, 26.Congratulations to Hugh Gillespie on matching three numbers. The next draw will be held in Tara Marina on 4th December for a jackpot of €7,200 with Ann Cox's team in charge of ticket sales. Yearly lotto membership for €50 would make a lovely Christmas present and can be purchased by ringing Nuala on 0863974566. Or why not consider some of the following by contacting Jenny @ 087 6811655: St. Michaels 75 year Anniversary Book (just a few left) or St. Michael's jerseys and clothing which are available direct from www.oneills.com.
