Update 6/3/16

It was a good weekend for both our boys and girls under 16 teams. Our girls won their first round match in Kilglass on Saturday evening on a scoreline of 7-9 to 6-11. They play at home next weekend against Kilbride.

Well done to our under 16 boys who started off the league with a win at home against Michael Glaveys on a scoreline of 6-7 to 3-8. Thanks to all who came out to support the team.

Plans are now in place for the St. Michael's Social Night Out which will be in Tara Marina on Easter Sunday night from 9.30pm. There will be music and finger food on the night and entry is €10 on the door. All are welcome.

Club Rossie membership tickets are now available from committee members.

Best wishes to Cara Clancy and Noelle Martin who play with Boyle Community College in the Connacht final in Claregalway during this week.

There was no winner of the club lotto jackpot of €5300 which was held in Clancy's on Sunday night. Well done to Alan O Hara who matched three numbers. Next draw is on Sunday March 20th in Beirnes of Battlebridge for a jackpot of €5400. If you're not in, you can't win !

Club membership is now due and can be combined with an annual lotto subscription at a reduced rate.  

"Ardcarne Remembers 1913-1923”  Commemoration Weekend - Official Launch on March 18th. Beirne's of Battlebridge is hosting the official launch of the commemoration weekend  on Fri.18th March at 10 pm. Guest speaker is Luke `Ming’ Flanagan, M.E.P. A good night's entertainment is guaranteed with ceol, craic agus caint.Raffle tickets will be on sale on the night for excellent spot prizes. All welcome
