St Michael's ladies had a brilliant experience on tour in Croke Park at the ladies all Ireland finals which enjoyed a record attendance of over 46,000. Tickets are on sale for the 50/50 draw contact, Jenny, Helen, Clare, Joan or Aileen.
Our under 14 girls play St Mary's at home on Sunday the 1st October at 5pm in the championship quarter final. Our minor girls play St. Ciaran's on 8th October in round 3 of their championship. Well done to Amy Gallagher, Niamh Reynolds and Amy Tiernan who represented Roscommon when they played Galway last Friday evening in the under 13 development.
Our Under 8's and Under 10's played our neighbours Boyle in friendly games last weekend at the Abbey Park. Thanks to all players, trainers and parents involved and to Boyle club for their welcome.
Club lotto results from the Tara Marina draw on 17th September was no jackpot winner. Tom Cooney and Brendan O'Connor share €100 for both matching three numbers. The next draw will be in Clancy's, Knockvicar on 1st October for a jackpot of €1,900. Jenny Bruen's team in charge.

Leah Moran and Faye Shivnan had an enjoyable day out when they were part of the Boyle Camoige team who played Clontarf in a challenge before the All-Ireland camogie final. The Clontarf connection was Paul Mc Dermott originally from Oakport.
Well done to Turlough Bruen who recently had the honour of refereeing the county senior ladies final in Knockcroghery.
Connacht GAA have again reiterated their commitment to the ongoing educational development of its players and members by announcing details of the 2017/2018 GAA National Student Bursary scheme. Connacht GAA, in support of the National Student Bursary Scheme, will award bursaries of €750 to students attending Higher Education colleges. Download the application form at www.connachtgaa.ie.
